Die casting with large filling speed and thin inner gate (experience: when the cross section area of the inner gate/cavity is less than 1/3 and the cavity is filled at high speed, intense disturbance occurs in the gathering area during the whole filling process, which is easy to produce this filling form, which is like a spray in extreme cases). According to this theory, the characteristics of the cavity filled with liquid metal in a die casting mold are related to the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the inner gate to the cross-sectional area of the cavity. During the Aluminum Alloy Die Casting process, the cross-sectional area of the inner gate/cavity should be greater than 1/4 to 1/3 to control the entry speed of liquid metal, thereby maintaining a smooth and stable filling. In this case, an exhaust slot should be opened near the inner gate to allow the gas in the mold cavity to be smoothly discharged.
